FENNEK features a modern, scalable and flexible interface that users can customize to see exactly what they need to see. As a starting point, the application offers a large selection of standards and requirements for the world’s leading broadcasters and streaming services. The user picks his destination and FENNEK will check that the peaks and loudness in the current project will match the intended use.
A comprehensive history view tracks levels and loudness over time, giving users a quick overview of their projects and an easy way to track down problems. Signal formats include stereo, 5.1, 7.1 and 7.1.2 surround sound. As a standalone application, FENNEK offers a useful option for calibrating equipment or to use a computer as a dedicated loudness metering station. It supports both Windows and macOS 10.15 and 11.5, running natively on both Intel and M1/ARM computers.
