KEF LS60 Wireless Lotus Edition Expands Design Partnership

Following the success of the KEF in-car audio system for Lotus, the two iconic British brands teamed up again to introduce a collection of KEF x Lotus products for the home. The first installment is the LS60 Wireless Lotus Edition, a floor standing high-fidelity system available in Lotus' British Racing Green. This custom version of the existing LS60 Wireless system combines superlative acoustic performance in a slim, distinctive floorstanding design.

Working closely with Lotus, KEF has drawn on its expertise on acoustic engineering to create a truly spatial and scalable audio experience for the Lotus Eletre. The standard audio system on the new Lotus Eletre electric Hyper-SUV, called KEF Premium, features an 1380-watt 15-speaker system with Uni-Q drivers and surround sound technology. Customers can also upgrade to KEF Reference, a 2160-watt 23-speaker system with Uni-Q and 3D surround sound tech.

Lotus and KEF have announced a partnership to bring high-end audio into the next generation of Lotus sports cars and premium electric lifestyle vehicles, commencing with the new Lotus Emira. To amplify the Emira driving experience, KEF is using its Uni-Q technology in a 10-channel sound system, with the engineering teams creating a novel flare that acoustically blends the speaker drive units into the car interior to ensure a truly spatial sound.
