High End 2024 - The Munich Show, the Trade and B2B

High End Munich 2024. Once again, one of best organized audio shows in the world, with a wide spectrum of very high-quality audio solutions presented, and an excellent business environment. All perfectly complements this international trade show, making it highly valuable for all. A true "marketplace" for the audio industry in the best sense of the term. These are my first impressions.

As the tradition dictates, the Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) revealed the winners of its 2023-2024 Awards. In the 41st year of the awards recognizing the most innovative and cutting-edge products in hifi, home theater, mobile and car audio, there are many surprises and predictable winners. One of the surprises is the overwhelming number of "specialized" awards designed to accommodate hifi products, and the unexplainable absence of leading products in the true wireless category.

The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) revealed the winners of its 2022-2023 Awards. With the consumer electronics industry still recovering from the pandemic effects, and some manufacturers emerging in the market lead after capitalizing on the changing environment, the awards show some predictability but also some surprises. This year celebrating its 40th anniversary, the EISA Awards recognize the most innovative, cutting-edge products.

Expanding the range of audio products introduced by German brand Loewe in 2020 - a company perhaps better known for its high-end TVs - a new range of SmartRadios soon to be launched will benefit from the latest Venice X platform from Frontier Smart Technologies. The Venice X module delivers a high quality SmartRadio solution, including Bluetooth, FM, DAB+ and Internet connectivity via Wi-Fi, allowing Internet Radio, Podcasts and music streaming via Spotify, Amazon and newly released Deezer music services.
