AXPONA 2022 Audio Expo Returns In-Person Stronger Than Ever

North America's largest high end audio expo, AXPONA returns in-person April 22-24, 2022 to the Chicago Area. The whole audio industry has been anticipating the return of this event, which in its 11th edition promises already 500+ exhibitors and brands, 130+ interactive listening rooms, an expanded Expo Hall, a dedicated headphone area, live concerts, seminars and much more. Once again at the Renaissance Schaumburg Hotel and Convention Center.

Legacy Audio will premiere its new VALOR loudspeaker system at the RMAF 2017 show. Powered by an incredible 2750 watts per side, the VALOR is the first speaker to employ Stereo Unfold technology, licensed from Bohmer Audio of Sweden and implemented in the Wavelet Preamp/DAC/Processor. By combining a controlled-directivity front array for the initial wave-launch and a side/rear-firing ambient array, VALOR is said to be able to "reconstruct the natural sequence of sound arrival of the live performance space."

Legacy Audio introduced its new Foundation subwoofer, using patented compound passive radiator technology and a pair of Legacy’s renowned long throw 12” woofers, supercharged with the latest ICEpower amplifier technology. The Legacy Foundation sub benefits from 30 amps of peak current, ultimately necessary to provide tight control to the 3 inch voice-coil within the massive 30lb magnetic structure of each woofer.
