Lake People Electronic Expands Production Facilities in Germany

Lake People opened a new production facility in Gauting, Germany. In addition to the company’s headquarters in Constance, a team of experienced specialists will now manufacture Lake People and selected Violectric product series in a new workshop, where Mogami cables for the European market are also produced. Other Violectric models, all Niimbus products and the entire R&D department remains in the original facilities, in fabulous Lake Constance, relatively close to Gauting.

German brand Lake People, renowned for headphones amplifiers and converters, has ventured into the studio market with the new MC100 monitor controller, offering a valuable new tool for discerning professionals, but also a very versatile DAC option for high-end music enthusiasts in general. The new MC100 design combines comprehensive control for up to three studio monitors with separate subwoofer output, XLR, RCA, jack, USB-C inputs, and headphone amplifier with X-Feed.

Following the acquisition of Lake People Electronic in 2020 by Munich-based company CMA Audio, the range of products from the Lake People, Niimbus, and Violectric brands continues to expand at fast pace. The latest announcement comes from Violectric and is the new DHA V226 headphone amplifier, which follows the outstanding quality tradition of previous DHA models. The amount of functionality integrated into the compact design stands testament to the exceptional engineering feat achieved by the team around Fried Reim.

CMA Audio, the Munich-based company that acquired audio manufacturer Lake People Electronic in 2020, continues to expand the range of products from the Lake People, Niimbus, and Violectric brands. Now, the company announces a first in the Violectric brand, with the introduction of a reference mobile DAC and headphone amplifier. With the Violectric Chronos, the German manufacturer introduces a high-quality alternative for mobile devices.

CMA Audio acquired audio manufacturer Lake People Electronic. For 2020, CMA Audio plans to invest in the extension of research and development in the company's headquarters in Constance, in the South of Germany, to overhaul the entire product catalog, which includes Lake People, Violectric and Niimbus brands, and to establish a new cable manufacture operation in cooperation with Japanese manufacturer Mogami. Target markets continues to be professional audio, hi-fi and high end audio enthusiasts.
