Apple Introduces Updated Logic Pro Software, Ready for New M4 Chip

Apple promoted an event to unveil its latest iPad lineup, introducing two new Air and Pro models, both delivering a giant leap in performance. With the iPad Pro models, Apple also unveiled its latest M4 system on a chip (SoC) that advances even more the stunning power-efficient performance of Apple silicon. To better illustrate the potential of these new platforms and its dedicated Neural Engine cores, Apple also unveiled the latest versions of its Logic Pro and Final Cut Pro software with new AI-powered features.

Certainly one of the most interesting displays at InfoComm 2019 was the Studio Six Digital side of the AudioControl booth, now that the companies are effectively united, following the acquisition in 2018 of part of the capital of the company founded by Andrew Smith. Using a finger or stylus, users are now able to write music in their own handwriting and see it effortlessly convert to digital notation. With an Apple Pencil on the iPad Pro, it’s even possible to write with pressure and thickness and even greater accuracy.
