Schoeps Launches Desert Island Stereo Microphone Sets

German microphone brand Schoeps launched its best-selling modular microphone series Colette in a matched set, packed in a handy and robust Peli Case. The company called it the Desert Island Stereo Set, and inside the Peli case we can find two CMC 1 U microphone amplifiers (Ref No. 132011) and two MK, axially aligned microphone capsules (No. 1310xxm), as a matched pair. The set includes a certificate of matching for the capsules and doesn't forget two SG 20 stand clamps.

Beyerdynamic unveiled a redesign of its storied M Series microphones in the classic finishes of silver and black, while gaining a new aesthetic, in line with other Beyerdynamic products oriented for the future. The new M Series, unveiled for the first time at NAMM 2023, keeps to the core principles of the original microphones and retains the sound quality loved by generations of artists. As the company explains, the M Series relaunch will optimize production, will create inventory stability and better serviceability.

Reacting to the exploding demand for microphone that can be used at home for web meetings, podcasting, voiceovers, or general home studio use, PreSonus is the latest company to announce a new entry in the USB microphone category. The new PreSonus Revelator microphone makes it easy to get polished, professional-sounding results with selectable polar patterns, preset configurations and loopback audio. Better still, it's an affordable option that looks like a big, expensive studio microphone that offers that delivers the desired "Radio Sound."

Zylia continues to expand its efforts in the field of 3D audio recording and production, showing a remarkable pace of product development and innovation. The Polish startup now released the new version of ZYLIA Studio, the company's software dedicated to work with the ZM-1 spherical microphone which provides an easy workflow of multitrack recording and mixing. The desktop application for macOS, Linux and Windows gained many new features and is now more user friendly.

After a successful debut at the 2019 NAMM show in January, Roswell Pro Audio, the Californian maker of premium boutique microphones, is now shipping their new Delphos II all-purpose studio condenser microphone, which retains the characteristics of the original Delphos, adding a third polar pattern (figure 8) and refined electronics designed to reduce ultrasonic noise. The updated microphone also features a new, larger body adorned in custom metallic blue paint.
