Morel Introduces BIGGIE. A Portable Bluetooth Speaker That is Big on Sound and Features

Morel attended the High End show in Munich to showcase how the company's speaker drivers can be at the core of both flagship high-end products but also innovative consumer designs. BIGGIE is the latest design from Morel, a more compact and portable speaker that expands on the brand's Högtalare, now adding a headphone-like handle and the latest Bluetooth BLE wireless technology. And Morel says that the BIGGIE will be also ready to support Auracast later in 2023.

The now available FabFilter Pro-Q 3, a major update to the acclaimed Pro-Q equalizer plug-in, improves on its predecessor in every area, introducing dynamic EQ, surround support, per-band mid/side processing, and much more, while maintaining the pristine sound quality and exceptional ease of use for which Pro-Q is known.

Gracenote, now a Nielsen company, confirmed that it is now featured in more than 100 million cars globally, powering intuitive, personalized and safer music experiences for drivers and passengers around the world. Spanning Video, Music and Sports, the all-new connected databases enable services like Apple Music, Tidal and Deezer with a whole new range of possibilities, including advanced audio personalization.

iZotope has been very active. After launching a new version of its flagship noise reduction suite RX, the Cambridge, MA, company introduced a new version of its main product, Ozone. iZotope went a long way in overhauling Ozone 6, and made important changes to the product. However, these changes were not well received among many of its long-term users and iZotope felt the need to come public explaining what they did and why.

Jünger Audio announced a new Voice Processor designed to make life easier for engineers working in radio, TV and ADR facilities. Analyzing incoming audio and comparing its spectrum with individually predetermined voice 'fingerprints’, the D*AP4 VAP Voice Processor is able to automatically apply dynamic EQ corrections and balance spectral differences in real-time.
