Let’s address the stigma "thing." Is it "awkward" to wear standard consumer earbuds (e.g., AirPods) to compensate for hearing loss? Are standard hearing aids a visible sign to informs others that a person has a disability? Are we supposed to have to explain that "these things are actually hearing aids"? This article discusses product design, hearing aids, the stigma associated with its use, and how that could complicate the ongoing convergence with consumer-oriented hearing assistance and enhancement.

The bold new design introduces a battery-free charging case, and boasts a 50% lower carbon footprint than similar products. Not only are the Skullcandy Ecobuds made with recycled materials, the company suggests that its new Bluetooth 5.2 earbuds will be perfectly fine working up to 8 hours a day, while 10 minutes of charging will give users 2 hours of playtime.

Jabra has conducted new research at the Behavioural Lab of the London School of Economics (LSE) to understand the dynamics of meetings and the impact of technology in hybrid working behavior. The report, "Meeting great expectations: Behavior, Emotion and Trust," found that meeting members were more engaged (56%) during face-to-face collaboration. In online meetings, there was a 22% increase in trust between remote participants seen using professional collaboration tools.

According to a recent study by Edison Research, Americans already spend more time listening to audio sources on mobile devices than they do from radio receivers. This is the first time that phones surpass the time spent listening to traditional radio, revealing that mobile phones continue "chomping" audio shares. And more worryingly for traditional broadcast radio, this is happening even in the car.
