WiiM Launches Installation Products and Adds Soundtrack Commercial Music Streaming

Following the announcement a year ago that WiiM was partnering with Origin Acoustics to bring to market a dedicated range of installation-oriented solutions, at CEDIA Expo 2024 the Linkplay brand now delivered with actual products. Completely new is the WiiM CI MOD S streamer DAC and the WiiM CI MOD A80, a streaming amplifier model. WiiM also confirmed that they’ve partnered with Soundtrack Your Brand to add a streaming service for commercial use to all its devices.

Sonos announced Sonos Pro, a new flexible software as a service (SaaS) offering that makes it easy for businesses to have music backgrounds across each of their locations. A new product category for Sonos, the subscription-based offering includes a simple dashboard to remotely manage a system across multiple locations, commercially-licensed music, personalized support, and more.

At ISE 2020, Lenbrook International offered an extensive showcase of audio solutions for residential applications, now extended significantly also to commercial audio installation thanks to the introduction of a comprehensive range of Bluesound Professional controllers, streamers, amplifiers, and speakers, all leveraging the powerful BluOS streaming software platform. At the Amsterdam show, Bluesound Professional announced the integration with multiple commercially-licensed music streaming services.
