Hafler (a division of Radial Engineering) announced that its latest PH50B and PH60B high performance phono preamps are now shipping. The PH50B and PH60B feature both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR outputs for connection to hifi playback systems or pro audio equipment. With the continued resurgence of vinyl production and sales, the PH50B and PH60B help address a growing market for high quality standalone phono stages.

Tascam announced a new way to bring out the power and performance of the iPad and iPhone for music and recording apps with the all-new iXR USB Audio/MIDI interface with iOS connectivity. During the 139th AES convention in New York, Radial Engineering announced the mPress, a radically new press audio distribution system that offers nearly unlimited expansion without signal degradation or noise. The mPress works in concert with a host of transformer-isolated Exo-Pods floor boxes.
