Alango Prepares for Launch of Wear & Hear Line of Assistive Hearing Products

Alango Technologies is getting ready to launch its new Wear & Hear line of assistive hearing products, starting with BeHear Now, an advanced Bluetooth stereo headset and hearing enhancer, featuring advanced audio processing with personal adjustments. Unique technologies include the company's ListenThrough enhancement of ambient sounds, music and phone calls, and EasyListen, which slows down incoming speech in real time.

Listen Technologies, a leading provider of assistive listening products for more than 18 years, has acquired the Audio Everywhere brand and products from ExXothermic, a developer or Wi-Fi streaming technology with four related patents. The technology, which Listen was already licensing, offers a low-cost assistive listening solution for smartphones that utilizes existing wireless networks for plug and play audio streaming.

It was all about evolution of concepts, products and technology for Sennheiser at InfoComm 2016. Among several interesting demonstrations, Sennheiser promoted its MobileConnect assistive listening concept, offering the ability to stream live audio to mobile devices via the MobileConnect App. Sennheiser’s solution consists of a streaming server providing the audio stream over WiFi, which users can connect to via the MobileConnect app on their own smartphone. Applications are unlimited.
