AMS Neve Unveils New 8424 Studio Console for Connected Workflows

British manufacturer AMS Neve has unveiled the 8424, a new small format studio console based on the brand's 80-series console range. This new console, AMS Neve also explains, is inspired by the success of the Genesys Black model, and is designed to fit the needs of the modern hybrid studio where most of the work is conducted "in-the-box" (in the computer DAW), but quality is enhanced by the quality of analog audio circuits.

Drawmer has expanded the breadth and depth of its dynamic processing offerings with the new Drawmer 1970 Dual FET Compressor and Pre-Amp. Audio engineers will notice the similarity of the 1970’s layout to the company’s flagship 1960 Mic Pre & Vacuum Tube Compressor, and, according to the brand, it is destined to fit a similar role in applications where transparent preamps and punchy FET compression fit the bill.

Audient announced Nero, a new desktop monitor controller offering a comprehensive range of I/O, console style monitor control, an assignable sub output, Precision Matched Attenuation Technology and more. According to the British audio company, Nero is designed to be at the core of the desktop studio and builds on the company's expertise in analog console heritage, offering control for up to three sets of speakers with independent volumes.
