DALI IO Headphones Combine Danish Design with ANC and Latest Wireless Technology

Introduced at IFA 2019 in September and already available in Europe, Lenbrook Americas formally announced the launch of DALI IO headphones also to the U.S. market. The new headphones reflect the combination of the Danish brand transducer expertise and design and combine all the features that consumers can expect. Two “over ear” models to start, the IO-6 ($499 U.S. MSRP) is an Active Noise Canceling (ANC) wireless headphone, while the IO-4 ($399) offers similar features and performance without ANC.

In another product announcement that didn't go as planned, following a lot of rumors and leaks coming from China, Apple was forced to unveil its latest addition to the AirPods family. As widely anticipated, the AirPods Pro have a new improved design, combining a slightly similar shape to the original loose-fit design, but slightly twisted to support a silicon in-ear tip, in order to make Active Noise Cancellation effective. True Wireless Designs: A Case of Loose-Fit Earbuds

When both Amazon and Microsoft promoted their own designs and vision for the true wireless earbuds category, what I found most interesting about Microsoft's Surface Earbuds was the design itself. Yes, they have that big round surface that will confer a distinct "iconic" look to the user - just like the AirPods do in a different way - but inside they also use the loose-fit design that Apple adopted since the EarPods (and which Bose pioneered). Just like Apple's design, they do not go inside the ear and do not completely block the ear canal.
