Daking Introduces New Four-Channel Microphone Preamplifier with Jensen Input & Output Transformers

TransAudio Group, the Las Vegas-based U.S. distributor of professional recording equipment, announced the new Daking Mic Pre 4T, the latest product from the company founded by Geoff Daking. Building on the legendary British sound of the Daking Mic Pre One and Mic Pre II/T, the new Daking Mic Pre 4T adds four variable high-pass filters to four high-gain/high headroom Mic Pres in a single rack space unit - a one-of-a-kind combination of soulful circuitry and proprietary problem-solving features.

TransAudio Group announced the new Subwoofer Pros Studio Sub 10, an ultra-compact 12" x 14" x 11.5" subwoofer with low distortion, an even frequency response, and an adjustable HF cutoff to work seamlessly with any size nearfield monitor. According to the Las Vegas company, the sealed and self-powered Studio Sub 10 produces high-fidelity bass reproduction down to 16Hz, and it is small enough to place anywhere in the control room in singles or multiples for different output volume and/or room mode taming.

TransAudio Group is now taking orders for the Bettermaker Mastering Equalizer, the latest tool from the Polish pure high-end analog signal specialists, which are able to offer complete digital control, including digital plug-in recall and automation. The Bettermaker Mastering Equalizer is configured for stereo, dual mono, or M/S operation and features four parametric bands, low- and high-cutoff filters, and a passive Pultec-style section with “air bands” at 23kHz and 28kHz.

The new MC3.1 Monitor Controller is now shipping. This is the latest product in the brand’s Monitor Controller family bringing an expanded feature set over the MC2.1. Full cue mix facilities, a secondary preset volume control to give repeatable calibrated output, a digital input, Low/Mid/High band solo, Individual Mono/Sub select, and External talkback Mic input with footswitch control are all new additions. Housed in a stylish aluminum Desktop wedge shaped chassis, with external power supply.
