Russound Announces New Generation of Multichannel Amplifiers

Focusing on premium, multiroom audio, Russound announced its new D-Series Multichannel Digital Amplifiers at ISE 2024. Building upon Russound's legacy in this audio category, the D-Series includes three models: the 8-channel D890, 12-channel D1290, and 16-channel D1675. The new amplifiers are distinguished by their source and control flexibility, multichannel power, and easy-to-configure audio filter options.

Russound, a leading developer and manufacturer in home audio entertainment, announced the appointment of Paul Wojciechowski to the position of Director of Product Development. The long-time CE product development specialist, whose extensive background in consumer and custom electronics includes leadership roles at ELAC Audio and Sonavox/Merry Electronics, will drive an aggressive period of product design and manufacturing at Russound. He reports to the company’s CEO, Charlie Porritt.

Russound introduced an all-in-one versatile Mixer Amp equipped with Bluetooth, FM tuner, and USB audio, designed for restaurants, retail stores, coffee shops, medical offices, schools, and more. The new MIXAMP-60 is a 70V/100V mixer and amplifier, designed with ease of use and versatility in mind, for light commercial businesses that require a multiroom audio solution that offers a way to broadcast ambient background music (BGM), address the public, and page staff.

Among several new products featured in the company’s ISE 2016 exhibit, Russound expanded its XStream whole-house wireless audio system with new XSource and XZone4 components. The new streaming solutions offer high resolution audio support, and trouble-free service/operation. The company also introduced new easy-to-install stereo amplifiers for distributed audio installations and a new TVA2.1 Digital Amplifier for mounting behind TVs.
