All the CES 2021 Innovation Awards in Audio

As an annual tradition, celebrating outstanding design and engineering in technology, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced the CES 2021 Innovation Awards honorees, including those products recognized as Best of Innovation. audioXpress looks at all the audio products and accessories that are included among the multiple categories, from personal audio to high-performance home audio, audio components, and smart home.

For the fifth consecutive year, market research firm Futuresource Consulting promoted its Audio Collaborative conference, a highly successful event dedicated to the latest audio trends. This year, Audio Collaborative 2018 was an all-day event, held in London, UK, on November 8, 2018. In this article I look at another two of the sessions, the panels discussing live and touring trends, and how the pro audio industry can leverage opportunities in the consumer space; and try to summarize some key content, and maybe add some context and perspective.

ROLI, the London-based music technology startup that created the Seaboard Rise and Seaboard Grand expressive keyboards, announced a new and affordable music creation system for everyone, combining LEGO-like blocks named, aptly… ROLI Blocks. The new scalable music system will be now available at Apple Stores around the world, with the first three modules, Lightpad Block, Live Block and Loop Block, powered by Noise, a free music app for iPhone and iPad.

The Consumer Technology Association (CTA - former CEA) announced its Best of Innovation Awards Honorees for CES 2016. Among the winners in 27 product categories is Harman, with the JBL Reflect Aware in-ears, Klipsch with its Reference Premiere Dolby Atmos Speaker System, and Sengled Voice, the first integrated microphone and speaker LED bulb on the market.
