Meyer Sound confirmed a series of new products to be unveiled at Prolight+Sound 2016 in Frankfurt, Germany. Focusing on the live entertainment and events aspect of the professional audio industry, the Californian company selected the Frankfurt show to introduce its new MJF-208 Stage Monitor, a compact version of the popular MJF wedge monitor series. Meyer Sound will also debut the MDM-5000 high-power distribution module, and the LYON-WXT extended vertical line array element.

Alcons Audio Introduces the LR18 Pro-Ribbon Line-Array at Prolight +Sound 2016

Dutch company Alcons Audio confirmed it will introduce its new Alcons LR18 pro-ribbon line-array at the 2016 Prolight+Sound show in Frankfurt. The 3-way, “compact-mid-size” format line-source sound system, promises “the highest sound quality possible with very high SPL capabilities and throw” thanks to the multiple-patented pro-ribbon technology for mid and high frequencies.
