JMR Electronics Among First to Ship new Portable Thunderbolt SSD Flash Drives

JMR Electronics announced general availability of its new portable Thunderbolt 2 equipped SSD Flash Drive. The ultra-compact and high performance Lightning LTNG-XTD Flash Drive is the ideal alternative to USB thumb drives, portable SATA based hard disk drives and current SSD storage products in the market.

Harman’s Studer announced AES67 integration for its Infinity Core mixing engine, which drives the company’s flagship Vista X and Vista V digital audio consoles. AES67 compatibility makes Studer’s Infinity Core the first x86-based AoIP core, incorporating standard off-the-shelf IT components and a Linux operating system. The implementation is based on Digigram’s LX-IP AES67 PCIe Sound Card.

Shipping early October and compatible with Thunderbolt-equipped Macs, new Universal Audio’s Satellite QUAD and OCTO DSP accelerators offer improved performance at higher sample rates and reduced plug-in latency versus FireWire. Also available are the UAD-2 OCTO PCIe Ultimate 3 cards with dozens of UA-developed UAD Powered Plug-Ins.

Sonnet Technologies is already shipping its 4U rackmount enclosure for Apple’s latest Mac Pro cylindrical computer. The Sonnet design securely houses the latest Mac Pro while connecting three PCIe expansion cards via Thunderbolt 2, and provides a 5.25-Inch mobile rack expansion.
