DPA Debuts New d:fine In-Ear Broadcast Headset Microphone

DPA Microphones introduced two new broadcast microphones at NAB 2015. Together with the new d:facto Interview Microphone, the Danish company is introducing the new d:fine In-Ear Broadcast Headset Microphone, targeted at broadcast hosts who use in-ear monitors to communicate with their producers backstage or to hear foldback from people interviewed outside the studio.

DPA Microphones is using the Prolight+Sound 2015 show to introduce a new model on its d:facto Vocal Microphone range. Already renowned for its audio quality and versatility on the live stage, this modular range now includes a new broadcast-quality capsule with low noise characteristics for presenters and reporters.

Following the preview at the CES 2015, Samsung Electronics launched its Radiant360 R7 Wireless Speaker. No doubt, Samsung’s first omnidirectional speaker offers a sleek, unique design. The sleek oval-shaped R7 uses a “Ring Radiator” technology to deliver 360 degrees of sound and was developed in Samsung’s new state-of-the-art Audio Lab in Valencia, CA.
