Mackie Debuts Firmware Update With NDI and Multi Language Support for DLZ Creator All-in-One Podcast Mixer

Timed with IFA 2023, Mackie announced multi-language support for its DLZ Creator, the company's recently launched all-in-one podcasting and streaming audio solution for content creators of any experience level. The new 1.1 firmware update introduces support for the increasingly popular NDI networking protocol over Ethernet, and includes a localized user interface in English (default), Chinese (simplified Mandarin), Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.

Evolving from software-based to cloud-based, Waves Audio, a leading developer of professional audio signal processing technologies and plugins, announced the availability of the Cloud MX Audio Mixer, a 100% cloud-based audio mixer for broadcast environments. This major technological achievement for Waves is a disrupting moment for the whole audio industry, even though the solution is for now being promoted for broadcast and media production environments, already more familiarized with cloud-based production.

In 2013, Microsoft announced it would license its professional Skype TX to the broadcast industry. In 2014, three manufacturers were awarded the required license: Riedel (Germany), NewTek (USA) and Quicklink (UK). Now, Audinate confirmed its Dante media networking software has been integrated with Skype TX and both the NewTek TalkShow and Quicklink TX units.
