Eight Groundbreaking Products to be Inducted to NAMM TECnology Hall of Fame 2018

At the 33rd Annual NAMM Technical Excellence and Creativity Awards (TEC Awards), eight products and technologies inspired by a series of global sound pioneers will find their place in audio history when they are inducted into NAMM’s prestigious TECnology Hall of Fame. The precursor to the phonograph (Phonautograph), joins products from Shure, Eventide, Deane Jensen, L-Acoustics, and Solid State Logic. The ceremony, and later the awards show, will take place Saturday, January 27, as part of The 2018 NAMM Show.

Celestion announced the addition of the Neo Creamback IR guitar speaker tones to their acclaimed line of Impulse Responses. The new Neo Creamback Impulse Responses, along with the eight other classic loudspeaker IRs, which premiered earlier this year, are available for audition and download at Celestion Plus.

Following the NAMM 2015 presentation, Line 6 announced the availability of its Relay G70 digital wireless system. The new Relay G70 system solves many of the most common wireless concerns while providing hands-free support for multiple guitars.

Recognized as a pioneer in digital wireless solutions working in the 2.4GHz ISM band, Line 6 introduced the new Relay G70 and G75 systems with support for multiple simultaneous transmitters reaching the same receiver, with support for different level instruments, with active, passive and acoustic pickups, for instance. The new designs are also more battery efficient and robust.

Line 6 announced the new AMPLIFi TT guitar processor, USB stereo audio interface and streaming system, following the same path of its innovative AMPLIFi guitar combo. The AMPLIFi TT transforms any stereo system into a guitar amp and Bluetooth streaming system with interactive guitar tone.
