CEDIA Expo 2019 Drove Product Innovation & Thought Leadership for Residential Tech and Design

CEDIA Expo 2019 connected nearly 20,000 attendees and 500 exhibitors during the 2019 show held September 12-14 at the Colorado Convention Center. The over 200,000 NSF show floor space was filled with technology integrators, manufacturers and design professionals and saw a debut of show floor programming which highlighted new-to-market brands, trending discussions within the industry, and business development for the ever-evolving custom integration and residential design channels.

Following the partnership announcement at CEDIA 2016, Bang & Olufsen and Origin Acoustics reaffirmed at ISE 2017 their partnership to extend the famous Danish brand’s product portfolio with best-in-class passive in-wall and in-ceiling speaker solutions, engineered and manufactured by Jeremy Burkhardt's new company. The new Bang & Olufsen and Origin Acoustics Celestial in-ceiling range and Palatial in-wall range are co-branded and will be distributed by both companies.

Bang & Olufsen and Origin Acoustics announced a partnership to extend the famous Danish brand’s product portfolio with best-in-class passive in-wall and in-ceiling speaker solutions. As revealed by a proud Jeremy Burkhardt, one of the founders of Origin Acoustics, its current CEO and main engineering vision, the first joint efforts are launched with the new Celestial in-ceiling range and Palatial in-wall range. “Origin Acoustics is a perfect match to Bang & Olufsen’s proud tradition of audio engineering and aesthetics,” Bang & Olufsen says.

Following the official introduction at CEDIA Expo 2014, Origin Acoustics’ in-wall / in-ceiling speaker range made its European debut at ISE 2015. With nearly 100 different products shipping, including electronics, Ken Humphreys, Ed Haase and Jeremy Burkhardt’s team seems focused on appointing motivated dealers and expand global distribution as quickly as possible.
