Jensen Transformers Introduces new ISO-MAX products at AES 2017

At the 143rd Audio Engineering Society Convention in New York, Jensen Transformers expanded its ISO-MAX line of products. The new PI-RJ2X for balanced XLR connections, and the CI-RJ2R for unbalanced RCA connections, are both designed to take a stereo L-R signal, sum it into mono, and output the signal over Ethernet. Jensen also introduced the DIN-LI-SUM-B, and DIN-LI-SUM-U, 35mm DIN rail interface modules, with L-R summing functionality.

Digital Audio Labs currently manufactures solutions for musicians and the installation market with its Livemix and PowerShape brands, and develops OEM audio solutions for a number of partners. With the acquisition of LaChapell Audio, the company returns to its origins in the studio market.

Radial's LX-3 and LX-2 Passive Line Splitters Now Shipping

The new Radial LX-2 and LX-3 are passive line-level splitters that distribute a balanced audio signal to multiple destinations noiselessly. Both units feature premium Jensen isolation transformers for exceptional audio quality, and XLR/1/4” combo inputs for easy connectivity. The LX-2 features a trim control to attenuate the input, allowing to reduce the level from hard-driven mic pre’s to avoid clipping. Both units have ground lifts on each XLR output to further reduce buzz and hum from ground loops, ensuring that the signal reaches each destination noise-free.

At the AES show this year, Radial Engineering introduced the LX2 passive line splitter and attenuator, which allows to easily send a single audio source to two different destinations at once without noise, with the ability to attenuate the input signal and tame hot outputs from a mixing console or mic preamp. Also new is the LX3 passive line splitter model, designed to send one audio signal to as many as three destinations at once. Both units provide Jensen transformer-isolated line level splitting.

Hafler Launches New Line of Phono Stages and SUTs for Turntables

Following the resurgence of 33 RPM records and turntables, Hafler has launched a series of devices aimed squarely at this market that include two active phono stages and two step-up transformers (SUTs). The series includes the Hafler PH50 high-performance phono stage for moving magnet (dynamic) cartridges, and the Hafler PH60 phono stage for moving coil cartridges with a class-A transformerless head-amp design. The Hafler PH34 and PH44 SUTs employ ultra high performance Jensen Transformers.
