Audio Show in Vienna's ACV Builds Anticipation for High End Vienna 2026

The Finest Audio Show Vienna 2024 on November 23 and 24, was a resounding success for exhibitors, visitors and the organizer, and for the second staging in a row at the Austria Center Vienna (ACV), the location proved to be suitable for an audio show. Some 4,000 visitors, in an upbeat ambiance, experienced sound and audio equipment at its finest. The Austrian audio show is staged by the High End Society Service GmbH, which already announced that its Munich show will become High End Vienna in May 2026.

A step into a promising future is how the High End Society, the promoters of the High End International Audio Show, announce the decision to move the successful trade show from Munich to Vienna. Not immediately. The High End 2025 show will still take place in Munich. But it was long known that the success of the show was being strongly hindered by the lack of expansion space in the Munich MOC. After having promoted a regional show in Vienna, the High End Society found a new home.

The new flagship DAC Velvet Sound | Veritas AK4499EX and the previously announced premium DAC AK4493S are two of the latest products developed by Asahi Kasei Microdevices Corporation (AKM) to be unveiled for the first time at the High End Show 2022. High End Munich Show Postponed From September 2021 to May 2022

The High End 2021 trade show, planned to take place in Munich from September 9 to 12, 2021, has now been moved to May 2022 due to the ongoing impact of the Covid-19 pandemic. The new parallel event, the IPS – International Parts + Supply, is also postponed. The High End Society Service GmbH reached this decision after a reassessment of the current situation and in close cooperation with the Board of the High End Society.

The organizer of the High End Show, the High End Society Service Gmbh, announced that the 2021 edition of the Munich show is now fully booked, even before the registration deadline at the end of March 2021! Scheduled to take place September 9-12, 2021, in combination with the newly announced International Parts+Supply (IPS) expansion, this seems to be now the very first International audio show to take place in 2021, even if global travel is expected to still be conditioned.

High End 2018 Final Report Indicates High Satisfaction Among Exhibitors Albeit Less Visitors

After four successful exhibition days, the 37th High End in Munich ended on May 13. A total of 530 exhibitors (-2% compared to 538 in previous year) from 41 nations and 19,899 visitors (-7% compared to 21,412 in 20017) were counted, including 7,557 trade visitors (-6%) from throughout the world. This represented a slight decline in numbers compared to the previous year, as noted in audioXpress’ first impressions report of the High End show in Munich.

Sennheiser To Present HD 820 Headphones at High End 2018

At High End 2018, which takes place at Munich’s MOC from May 10 to 13, Sennheiser will present its new HD 820 circumaural dynamic stereo headphones. Following several previews since CES 2018, High End 2018 will signal the European premiere for the HD 820, which the German brand says set a new benchmark in sound quality for closed-back headphones.
