Tech Industry Veteran Anders Storm Named Chief Executive Officer of Dirac Research

Swedish digital audio pioneer Dirac announced the appointment of Anders Storm as Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately, according to Dirac Chairman Johan Sedihn. Storm's appointment as CEO comes at a time when the company is experiencing record breaking growth in the automotive and home audio markets, driven by new and expanded commercial partnerships with some of the industry’s biggest players – as consumer demand for premium sound across all platforms continues to grow.

Gibson Brands, the iconic musical instruments brand, announced that its Board of Directors has confirmed Cesar Gueikian to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Gibson Brands. Cesar Gueikian joined Gibson in November of 2018, and since then, has been leading the brand, product, and team development efforts, and has been instrumental in the resurgence of Gibson. He created the Gibson Labs and lead the company into profitable business growth.

Andreas Rapp has been appointed chief executive officer and managing director of beyerdynamic, effective April 1, 2023. In this role, he is responsible for the operational business of the renowned audio brand from Heilbronn, Germany, succeeding Edgar van Velzen, who is leaving the company. Rapp worked previously at beyerdynamic in its consumer division, from 2002 to 2004.

Seattle-based Tectonic Audio Labs is preparing to enter a new stage of rapid growth with the appointment of former Bose Corporation executive Fuat Koro as president and chief executive officer. In his role, Koro intends to propel strategic alliances, technical innovation and revenue growth for the innovative loudspeaker company, renowned for its OEM solutions that can be found in products across consumer, automotive and enterprise verticals.

Swedish digital audio processing pioneer Dirac announced a realignment of its executive team to better position the company to take full advantage of a growing and expanding range of new business opportunities. Peter Friedrichsen joins the company as Chief Executive Officer following the decision by long-time CEO and co-founder Dr. Mathias Johansson to focus exclusively on new technologies and product development as Chief Product Officer.

Poly announced the appointment of Dave Shull as President, Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Company's Board of Directors, effective September 8, 2020. Mr. Shull succeeds Robert Hagerty, who has served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since February 2020. A telecommunications and technology veteran which most recently worked for TiVo, brings 15 years of senior leadership experience and a strong track record of value creation.

Audio Precision announced the transition of company ownership from majority shareholder Bruce Hofer to AP’s leadership team. Mr. Hofer will continue to apply his expertise as principal hardware engineer while maintaining his role as Chairman of AP’s Board.
