B&K Precision Extends Programmable AC Power Sources up to 3000VA

B&K Precision announced a new line of AC power sources that deliver up to 3000VA, principally for product designs that depend on grid power anywhere in the world. In addition to a boost in range from the company's previous line of 1500VA instruments, the new power sources can also serve as a power source for DC and AC+DC product development, and feature amplifier mode to handle complex waveforms. They also can simulate surges and sags, as well as waveform distortions and noise, features that typically come in more-expensive instruments.

B&K Precision continues to deliver on its promise of delivering reliable and cost-effective test and measurement instruments and announced the expansion of its bench LCR meter family with the addition of two new models that extend the family's test frequencies up to 1 MHz. B&K Precision's new 894 and 895 bench LCR meters provide test frequencies from 20 Hz to 500 kHz and 20 Hz to 1 MHz, respectively, and can measure inductance, capacitance and resistance with 0.05% basic impedance accuracy.

B&K Precision announced the expansion of its current 878B and 879B 40,000-count handheld LCR meters with the addition of a new 100 kHz model, the 880. This new portable LCR meter can measure inductance, capacitance, and resistance with 0.1% basic impedance accuracy. Offering many features typically found only in bench LCR meters, the 880 provides test frequencies up to 100 kHz, selectable test signal levels, and 4-terminal measurement capabilities.

The new 9130B Series of programmable triple output DC power supplies from BK Precision offers isolated outputs, series/parallel/tracking modes, and standard USB, RS232, and GPIB interfaces. This allows easy control, generating test sequences, and log data via the provided PC software or NI-certified LabVIEW driver.
