Neutrik Introduces Improved Series of Stage-Ready Dante I/O Interfaces

With over 4000 Dante-enabled audio products available from more than 600 manufacturers, and over 1 million Dante units shipped in the year 2023, Dante technology is the de facto standard in audio-over-IP. Increasingly, Dante is used in mission-critical applications such as live performance, global touring and the major live broadcast events in the world. That's the reason why Neutrik recently expanded its range of Dante audio interfaces.

Glensound, the dynamic British manufacturer of audio networked systems is, once again, demonstrating its agility by introducing new and upgraded products much influenced by customer feedback. For NAB 2024, the company is using the opportunity to introduce new products for the broadcast market, expanding its range of Dante/AES67 audio-over-IP (AoIP) interfaces, now an essential ingredient in broadcast and installation applications.

Crestron Electronics announced four new Crestron DM NAX Audio Edge Devices to provide seamless interoperability and performance between audio sources for any AV-over-IP system. Unveiled during the last day of ISE 2024, not to obscure the many other announcements for the show from the global leader in home automation, the four new solutions act as audio-over-IP entry points for streaming, Bluetooth, microphones or any analog audio source, such as turntable.

The adoption of Dante-enabled AoIP solutions has reached the status of de facto standard in both the commercial installation and broadcast application markets, and manufacturers are extending the number of Dante-enabled solutions to all domains. Sonifex is an example of a leading manufacturer with an early lead in the design of Dante solutions and, at the AES NY 2019 show, the British company will introduce its new Dante configurable commentary units with 2 or 4 channels, together with an extensive number of interface solutions.

Audinate announced a new software-based Dante audio network that runs on any PC or Mac. It’s called Dante Via and it creates a flexible software audio bridge for any computer to connect with local USB, FireWire, Thunderbolt and analog audio interfaces, transforming them into Dante networked devices.
