Solid State Logic (SSL) has been one of the strongest proponents of Audinate's Dante since it implemented its first solution with the audio networking technology. Now SSL announced a significant feature upgrade with the release of new V3.3 software for SSL Live L500 and L300 consoles, introducing enhanced Dante networking, including direct control over the SSL Network I/O range of devices which facilitate use of IP Audio networking.

Audinate confirmed key adoption milestones for its industry-leading Dante media networking technology at ISE 2017. Dante is now integrated in over 1,000 commercially available products, and licensed to over 350 manufacturers, an increase of 75 since this time last year. Recent licensees span a broad spectrum of markets, including installed sound, live sound, broadcast, transportation and CEDIA, and include notable brands such as Beyerdynamic, Clear-Com, JBL, Lawo, Panasonic, Riedel, Sony and more.

Interoperability continues to make headlines for RAVENNA at ISE 2017. Cymatic Audio Adds Dante Compatibility to AudioLan Option Card

Following a series of interoperability demonstrations at previous trade shows, during NAMM 2017, Cymatic Audio announced the addition of Dante compatibility to the AudioLan option card for its uTrack24 multitrack recorder, player and interface. Cymatic also added an all-new Playlist feature ideal for “virtual sound check” purposes and/or enhancing live band performances with pre-recorded tracks, for its uTrack-X32 expansion card.

Audinate and NAMM Unveil Dante Training Events at the 2017 NAMM Show

The NAMM Show annual conference will be held in Anaheim, California at the Anaheim Convention Center, January 19-22. In partnership with NAMM, Audinate will conduct multiple training sessions at the 2017 NAMM show about Dante audio networking solutions. There is a master class on the first day of the show and two Dante training courses the following days. More than 50 companies will show Dante-enabled products at NAMM 2017.

QSC Announces Q-SYS Platform Software Release to Support AES67

QSC, a member company of the Media Networking Alliance (MNA), has announced that it will incorporate support for AES67 in its Q-SYS Platform with the forthcoming Q-SYS Designer v5.3 software release. Introduction of support for the networked audio interoperability standard will allow audio distribution between Q-SYS and other systems supporting AES67 without additional hardware.
