A powerful, paper-cone, vintage-voiced 10”, the Blackbird 10-40 is a completely new 40W speaker, with a 1.25” copper-wound voice coil and the exclusive “Reinforced AlNiCo” magnet design that Jensen developed for the highly successful Blackbird 12-40. This new 10" guitar speaker is the smaller sibling of the 12" Blackbird 40, and mirrors the tonal qualities of the larger model at 40W, with a very similar efficiency.

VC - Unveiled for the first time at NAMM 2019, the new Celestion Ruby is an alnico-magnet guitar speaker that’s purpose-built to create vintage tones – and at 35-watts power handling, it’s ideal for use with mid-powered amps and combos. The other new model is the G10 Creamback, a 10" addition to Celestion guitar range, hand-built in the UK using the same production methods and materials developed for the 12-inch models. The G10 Creamback uses a ceramic magnet and a 1.75-inch voice coil to deliver 45-watt power handling.

What are my two cents on criteria for sustainable product design? Bioplastics, sustainable, biodegradable, or end of life recyclable attributes are all aspects of a truly green product. I think that a conscionable green design philosophy focuses on the total integration of “good citizen” eco-friendly materials and processes and long, useful life.
