Soundcore Unveils Wireless Headphones and TWS Earbuds With Stronger ANC and Long-Lasting Battery Life

August 26 2022, 00:35
Soundcore, the premium audio brand of Anker Innovations, launched the Space Q45 over-ear wireless ANC headphones and the Space A40 true wireless ANC earbuds. Both models in the new Space series feature an upgraded active noise cancelling system,  which the company says it offers a leap forward in the customizable, noise-free listening experience, while delivering ultra-long playtime and impressive audio performance.

With the market maturing over the set of features that consumers are looking for in wireless headphones and true wireless earbuds for daily use, manufacturers with access to the latest technologies and able to bring out refined designs are creating products that excel in features, while still remaining affordable - appealing to consumers willing to compromise on the cost of originality.

The new Soundcore Space A40 true wireless earbuds (US $99) offer strong, adaptive noise cancellation, with 50 hours of battery life from the charging case and a small, pocketable form factor, designed to become a perfect everyday carry pair of earbuds. Likewise, the new Soundcore Space Q45 over-ear headphones (US $149.99) are perfect for blocking out the noise while traveling, using a 3-stage noise cancelling technology, with 65 hours of battery life (50 with ANC turned on) and super comfortable earpads for all-day usage.

"Two of the most requested features by consumers are better battery life and stronger noise cancelling performance," says Rock Gao, General Manager, Headphones for Soundcore. "When designing the Q45 and A40, our engineers wanted to offer consumers a no-compromise listening experience, not only with remarkable ANC performance, and industry-leading battery life but improved sound reproduction that is perfect for traveling or everyday usage."

The new noise cancellation used in the Soundcore Q45 Over-Ear Headphones (a not so subtle reference to the market leader in traveling ANC headphones) leverages a newly designed 3-stage noise cancelling system. This implementation, Soundcore details enables the Q45 to capture and block up to 98% of unwanted noise, while adaptive noise cancelling automatically optimizes ANC performance based on the outside environment.

The Space Q45's ANC performance is also improved by an updated earcup design with comfortable memory foam earpads to create an enhanced seal, allowing listeners to benefit from great passive isolation to start with. The Q45 also offers users the ability to customize the transparency mode and strength of it through the Soundcore app (available through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store,) to ensure important announcements are not missed.

The Q45 headphones are driven by a 40mm double-layer diaphragm driver with silk and metal-ceramic material that elevates the audio performance over all frequencies for a balanced sound profile while producing an immersive soundstage and improved clarity. A Bluetooth 5.3 module with LDAC and Hi-Res Wired and Wireless certification provide a rich audio experience for the more demanding listeners while AAC support ensures superior performance for every user. And if the Q45s are running out of battery, users can simply charge them for 5-minutes to get up to 4 hours of playtime.
For those who need good communication quality, the Soundcore Space Q45 headphones feature dual microphones with an enhanced AI algorithm to ensure clear voice during calls. And included in the customization features offered by the Soundcore app is a mode that limits maximum volume to protect hearing. Like all recent Bluetooth headphones, the Space Q45s headphones also offer multipoint connectivity allowing them to be used with a laptop and phone simultaneously with select models and using the same OS.

A40 In-Ear ANC Earbuds
Leveraging the same technology improvements in a no-frills design that still impresses while remaining affordable, the new Soundcore Space A40 true wireless earbuds feature Adaptive ANC. Integrating noise sensing microphones and passively blocking external sounds, the A40 earbuds can reduce up to 98% of external noise while in use. The Adaptive ANC features improve the listening experience, which analyzes ambient sounds in real time and adjusts the strength of noise reduction processing depending on the environment.

Specially developed by Soundcore, the A40 earbuds use two innovative 10mm double-layer diaphragm drivers, combining the same metal ceramic material to deliver powerful bass and crisp treble but well-balanced audio accross all frequencies. And like the Soundcore Liberty earbuds, the A40 offer the HearID feature in the Soundcore mobile app, allowing users to tailor their listening experience to their listening profile. A simple procedure will automatically tune the audio frequencies to their left and right hearing, while the app also offers several preset sound profiles or an 8-band custom EQ for the ultimate in customization.

For TWS earbuds, the A40 provide an impressive autonomy of up to ten hours of battery life from a single charge (8H with ANC) and 50-hours total listening time with the pocket-sized charging case. Additionally, the fast-charging technology offers up to 4 hours of playtime from just 10-minutes of charging time via USB-C cable. The charging case can also be recharged using a Qi wireless charging pad. A reassuring part of the design, coming from a leading manufacturer of power adapters and mobile charging devices.

Featuring Bluetooth 5.2 and also supporting LDAC wireless Hi-Res transmission, the Space A40 earbuds allow users to also pair with multiple devices. The ergonomic, compact and lightweight design along with five different sized silicone ear tips, ensures a stable and comfortable fit. Again, an understated design that offers all the essential features at a very competitive price.

Both new models will be available in Black, White and Navy Blue colors, with availability starting with the Black model only for the Space Q45 headphones.
