Samson, launched the Zi100 and Zi200 In-Ear Monitor Earphones with balanced armature drivers, which are said to offer “superior upgrade options for live performance monitoring, field recording, audiophile music listening and smartphone/MP3 playback.” Featuring a compact and ergonomic design, both the Zi100 and Zi200 earphones provide high isolation and fast response for a detailed and accurate audio experience.
The Zi100s produce full range sound and optimized low-end performance with a single high-definition micro balanced armature driver in each earbud. It features a detachable cable with silver braided wire, and gold-plated MMCX (micro-miniature coaxial) connectors with snap-lock functionality for secure, interference-free audio performance.
Featuring dual high-definition micro balanced armature drivers with a custom designed crossover, the Zi200 earbuds produce an extended audio response. It also ships with a detachable cable with silver braided wire, gold-plated MMCX connectors with snap-lock functionality.
Both models are lightweight and contour to the users’ ears with moldable ear hooks for a secure, customized fit. The water-resistant earbuds feature a transparent finish molded with a UV inhibitor to prevent discoloration over time. Each set includes three Comply Premium Foam Tips and three silicon foam tips, as well as multiple in-ear fit options. A soft, zippered carry case is also included for easy storage and travel. The Zi100 and Zi200 will be available March 2017, for $99.99 (Zi100) and $199.99 (Zi200).
