NTi Audio Introduces MeasurEye Measurement Monitoring Platform

March 18 2024, 01:10
NTi Audio has been busy expanding its industry partnerships and continuously updating its product catalog, including with new valuable firmware updates for its XL3 Acoustic Analyzer and professional Class 1 sound level meter. Precisely expanding the possibilities for complex projects with the XL3, the Liechtenstein-based company introduced MeasurEye, a free cloud-based platform for autonomous monitoring, able to combine noise measurements and characterization with environmental factors.

According to NTi Audio, MeasurEye is complete solution that provides long-term noise monitoring as required for industrial and construction sites, transportation (roads, railways, airports), entertainment (concerts, venues), national parks and protected areas, and monitoring of occupational noise exposure

MeasurEye combines all the remote monitoring data regarding Noise Levels, Noise Direction, Air Quality, Wind, and Weather, providing a sound basis for compliance decisions within legal limits and standards. With MeasurEye, users have the flexibility to establish and effortlessly manage remote monitoring projects.

All it's needed is to link the NTi Audio's (and authorized partners) devices to MeasurEye and initiate the collection of measurement data for continuous 24/7 hands-off monitoring, or according to a detailed and fine-tuned schedule. Users can configure events to trigger reports and send email alerts when measurement level limits are exceeded.

The noise levels data that is fed to MeasurEye is recorded using the XL3 Sound Level Meter, with the NL1 Noise Locator (new product coming soon) allowing to monitor noise direction, and environmental factors recorded from a Weather Station, and the AQ Guard Smart 1000 (for air quality).

With the data collected and uploaded to the cloud, MeasurEye provides real-time data access with Grid, Chart, Map, State of Health (SOH), Alerts, and XL views, historical data analysis, and reports of events. Evaluation conditions can be defined between certain hours of the day, and on specific days of the week. In addition to simple evaluation conditions, an event may be configured to trigger an alarm if an advanced Evaluation Condition is met. MeasurEye can optionally classify event alerts using AI noise classification. A confidence score is assigned to various classes of noise, such as speech, machinery, traffic, and others.

Providing 24/7 hands-off monitoring capabilities, MeasurEye delivers real-time updates every second as well as historical data for in-depth analysis. Automatic Event and State of Health email alerts ensure that potential issues are promptly identified and can be addressed, minimizing downtime and time required for an expert to spend on site.

MeasurEye also provides simple event evaluation, based on 1-second data, such as exceeding noise level limits (e.g. LAeq_dt > 70 dB) or combines multiple measurements to provide a more comprehensive assessment, providing meaningful alarms in complex environmental conditions.

e.g. (LAeq_dt > 70 dB and Max Wind Speed < 3 m/s) or PM10 > 50 μg/m³

Beyond measurements, MeasurEye provides State of Health information and alerts for Battery, Power Supply, GPS, and more.  In summary, MeasurEye deliver a comprehensive monitoring solution that empowers users to make informed decisions.
