Jabra Launches Evolve2 30 Headset for Remote Work Productivity

March 2 2021, 15:10
Jabra today announced the launch of the Jabra Evolve2 30, the latest product to join the brand's best-selling Evolve2 range of unified communication products, now evolving to support hybrid working environments. The Jabra Evolve2 30 headset is the next generation of the Evolve range, designed to enhance productivity whether working from the office or at home. The headset is engineered for collaboration, concentration and comfortable productivity all day long at an affordable price of $99.

The new normal has created the need for a hybrid approach to work, where flexibility between remote working and being office-based is a key priority. Virtual collaboration is a growing trend. Meanwhile productivity is still a big challenge for businesses, as complexity of work increases exponentially, but average productivity rates diminish. Headsets are playing a crucial role in the flexible revolution of the workplace.

The new Jabra Evolve2 30 headset is a lightweight and portable, noise-isolating design that provides cost-effective comfort, featuring 2 built-in microphones for superior call performance, 28mm drivers for improved sound and still offering UC and Microsoft Teams certification for enhanced collaboration. And it allows portable concentration anywhere in a headset that is 27% lighter than the previous generation.

This new under $100, cost-effective headset designed for remote workers is the latest product to join the Evolve 2 range. The 2-microphone call technology can clearly capture voice for calls and online meetings from anywhere, while oval ear cushions and an angled earcup block out any noise and disturbances in the background. An integrated busylight within turns on automatically when on a call and it can also be turned on manually to signal “do-not-disturb” to those around.

Ergonomically designed to support prolonged wear, and to exert evenly distributed pressure, the Jabra Evolve2 30 headset is built with premium soft memory foam ear cushions that mold to the ear’s natural contours. The headband and slider are assembled with stainless steel for a much higher degree of durability and flexibility.

The Evolve2 30 headset is available in mono ($89 MSRP) or stereo ($99 MSRP) configurations, with USB-A or USB-C connectivity and also available in a Microsoft Teams certified variant, with a dedicated Microsoft Teams button to jump in and out of virtual meetings. The design meets Microsoft Open Office requirements – a strict test of how effective a headset microphone is at suppressing surrounding noise and office talk.

The Jabra Evolve2 30 is available from March 2021 in selected retailers.
