Berlin-based pro audio company Holoplot, the inventors of the X1 Matrix Array and pioneers of 3D beamforming technologies for large scale sound reinforcement applications, announced the appointment of Klas Dalbjorn to the role of product manager. Dalbjorn brings 30 years of pro audio experience to his new position, following his key roles as product manager at Powersoft, and 24 years with Lab.gruppen.
The move was not exactly a secret for those many industry professionals following Klas Dalbjorn on social media, and the news of his involvement with Holoplot have created anticipation and excitement for the innovative company from Berlin, Germany. Dalbjorn is a well-respected professional in the audio industry and brings 30 years of valuable experience to his new position, where he will play a key role in further expanding the Holoplot product portfolio, as the company continues to scale, extending its technological offering to new markets.
In his previous roles, Dalbjorn was responsible for directing product management efforts across the Powersoft product portfolio, after building a deep knowledge of the industry at Lab.gruppen AB over a 24-year period. His work with the Italian amplifier company was highly praised as a significant evolution of Powersoft's portfolio, highly on target with industry requirements, effectively replacing the market void that was felt by the disappearance of the respected Swedish company Lab.gruppen, following its acquisition by Behringer in 2015.
"It’s a privilege to be Product Manager for the team creating future generations of Holoplot products. The recently launched X1 system is changing what’s possible when it comes to optimally covering all manner of listening areas with sound, not to speak of the possibility to send different content to different areas within a single space. In the late 90's we were dreaming of a day when something like this would become possible and now it’s actually happening! I'm thrilled to be a part of the Holoplot mission," says Dalbjorn about his appointment.
Holoplot is working on the design and development of revolutionary audio products and tools, with the innovative results of their work already visible since the introduction of the Holoplot X1 in 2021, signaling the availability of the Matrix Array technology as a brand new category of professional sound reinforcement systems. The company uses a combination of software-driven, and hardware-enabled technologies to create ultra-precise control over sound propagation and localization.
Roman Sick, Holoplot CEO adds: "We’re delighted to have Klas on board - I’m confident that his razor-sharp skillset, acquired from several highly successful decades in the industry will prove invaluable to us as we continue to build on the positive industry response that we’ve received around X1. Klas’ role will be central to how we continue to meet the needs and ambitions of the pro audio market through our next-generation of products."
Klas Dalbjorn and the Holoplot team are planning to be at the rescheduled ISE show in Barcelona from 10-13 May on booth #7K700.
