Following two years of delayed plans and extended preparation work, Holoplot, the Berlin-based audio company behind the X1 Matrix Array and 3D beamforming technologies that promise to revolutionize sound reinforcement, is now gearing up for the return to trade-shows and increased visibility. To support those efforts, Holoplot announced the appointment of Tom Barker-Harrold as Head of Marketing, and Ryan Penny as Head of Sales EMEA.

Tom Barker-Harrold joins the Holoplot leadership team off the back of a fifteen-year marketing career, working with established pro audio brands including Audio-Technica and d&b audiotechnik. In his new role, Barker-Harrold spearheads the company’s international marketing department covering brand and product marketing strategy, performance marketing and communications.

"From my first conversations with the Holoplot team, I was inspired by the company's mission to radically transform the audio industry, and completely convinced by the technological development already in place to deliver on that goal. It's a unique and compelling opportunity to drive the continued growth of the Holoplot brand. I’m looking forward to presenting our flagship X1 Matrix Array during the upcoming ISE and Infocomm events," says Tom Barker-Harrold.

After a decade of diverse roles within the pro audio industry, Ryan Penny joins Holoplot as Head of  Sales, EMEA. Formerly working across both consultancy and sales management, Penny’s held previous roles at RH Consulting, Vanguardia and Harman International. In his new role, Penny leads Holoplot’s commercial expansion across Europe, the Middle East and Africa drawing from his experience as a sales and project leader on some of the world's most iconic events and venues.

"It is a pleasure to step into the role of Head of Sales EMEA at Holoplot during this transformational time for the company. The recently launched X1 system is a true game changer in the pro-audio space. The potential applications of the X1 system - and future Holoplot products expanding on its innovation - are enormous, and I look forward to helping bring these products to events and venues across EMEA,” Ryan Penny adds.

"I am very excited about Tom and Ryan joining our team. Both their reputations have preceded them in the industry and they share our hunger for innovation and transformation. Paired with their deep knowledge of the market this will enable Holoplot to grow and excel even further in the coming months and years,” says Holoplot CEO, Roman Sick.

The company is on a mission to transform sound reproduction through the design and development of revolutionary audio products and tools, including X1, which introduces a brand new category of professional sound system, the Matrix Array. Holoplot's software-driven, and hardware-enabled Matrix Array modules enable ultra-precise control over sound propagation and localization. Over the past weeks, the company has been promoting demonstration sessions to the industry and is preparing for the upcoming return to trade-shows.

Tom, Ryan and the Holoplot team will be on the ground at the rescheduled ISE show in Barcelona from 10-13 May at booth #7K700.
