High End 2023 Munich Audio Show to Break Past Records

January 16 2023, 00:35
The Munich High End audio show plays an essential role as one the most important marketplaces for the audio industry. The 40th edition of the show, May 18-21, promises to break all records. Following the registration deadline for exhibitors, the High End Society reported increasing demand for the international audio show. The 2023 edition will see the second edition of the IPS – International Parts + Supply B2B section now taking place on all four days of the High End show, and supported by the ALTI Association.

The exhibitors registration period for the 40th High End International Audio Show, which will take place May 18-21, has shown how the audio industry expectation for this event continues to increase. Manufacturers, distributors and specialist dealers have responded massively to the invitations from the event organizer, the High End Society Service GmbH. There was once again a rapid influx of initial registrations and bookings for the 2023 edition of the Munich High End show.

Managing Director Stefan Dreischärf and his team are already working hard to plan the event. After the successful relaunch of the High End in May 2022, the organizers confirmed the extremely high demand among exhibitors for 2023. "The interest within the industry is immense and has even grown due to the resounding success of the event," explains Dreischärf. "The positive mood at the last exhibition soon became a talking point throughout the industry."

The sought-after atrium rooms of the MOC facility that hosts the High End every year, offer perfect conditions for sound demonstrations, and attract long waiting lists every year. In order to positively respond to all registrations, the organizers have increased the efforts to allow optimal of the space available in the exhibition halls.

The 2022 edition of the High End show successfully embraced its role as one the most important marketplaces for the international audio industry. This will now expand in 2023, as the show continues to play an essential role in driving and promoting business relations. In parallel with the established audio show presentations for retailers, distributors and the general public, the Munich High End show has heightened its focus on the B2B side with a dedicated area that was also well received by the exhibitors in 2022.

"The feedback received from our customers was extremely positive and confirmed that we made the right decision," states Stefan Dreischärf. "We are convinced that the two trade visitor days played an important role in helping our customers achieve impressive economic results and we will therefore continue to pursue this concept at the High End 2023." The organization decided to extend access to the supplier trade show IPS – International Parts + Supply area also during the four days of the show, with access condition for trade and professional visitors. This extended duration gives exhibitors the chance to plan a balanced schedule in advance.

The High End show will continue to be a valuable opportunity for those passionate about excellent music reproduction and high-quality hi-fi technology when it opens its doors to the general public on the third weekend of May. Audiophiles and music-lovers visiting the MOC Event Center in Munich can discover the latest trends, exciting innovations and, of course, very high quality sound in the demonstration rooms.

The new IPS – International Parts + Supply section of the show,  a separate area in Hall 1, will extend to all four days of the show, remaining a B2B focused event that is only open to industry experts. The exhibition area will host a variety of suppliers to the audio industry, and for the first time will feature a meeting pavilion hosted by the ALTI - Audio and Loudspeaker Technologies International Association, which will also promote a schedule of dedicated technical presentations for audio designers and manufacturers.

In another color-coded special exhibition space, the dedicated World of Headphones, manufacturers and brands from all over the world will present personal audio and mobile audio equipment. Apart from hosting exhibits from companies in this space, this section of the show allows visitors to try out and compare a multitude of different headphones.

For the two public visitors days, tickets for the High End 2023 can only be purchased online via the ticket shop, which is now open.
