ETAL Group is launching a new high end Class D amplifier module with a footprint less than a credit card at 141st AES in Los Angeles. During the 2016 AES international convention (29 Sept – 1 Oct) the Swedish company will preview its new compact design together with premium Anaview AMS and popular high end ALC Class D power amplifier modules, which will also be featured at the event.

The new ETAL Anaview ALA0080 Class D amplifier module

The new ETAL Anaview ALA Class D amplifier is based on patented ETAL audio engineering and magnetics and, according to the company, sets new standards of audio performance for products where form factor and power consumption are key constraints. With overall dimensions of just 68mm x 33mm x 18mm, the ETAL Anaview ALA series delivers 2 x 45W rms into 6ohm. It can be powered by a single voltage of 12-25V DC making it easy to integrate.

“In terms of size-performance, the ALA is unmatched, delivering amazingly clean and room-filling sound from a very small module.  We see this exceptional module as a game-changer, opening the way to great-sounding and highly compact lifestyle electronics, networked audio and battery powered applications,” says Stefan Ruuth, sales manager at ETAL.

Also prominent on the ETAL booth at AES will be the Anaview AMS series of premium Class D amplifier modules. The design of these amplifiers is subject to two separate patents, covering the correction of non-linearities. The technology offers wide 1st order bandwidths and 0.05% THD+N at rated power to create a first class listening experience. The AMS modules feature auto ranging universal mains power supplies that comply with the EU standby power directive.

Also on the booth is the Anaview ALC Class D amplifier line from ETAL, one of the industry’s most popular units, with more than 2 million channels shipped over four years. This Class D amplifier family is offered in five different levels of power from 50W to 1000W per channel. All models feature Energy Star (<1W) compliant standby supplies suitable for use with 110V or 240V mains.

Anaview Class D amplifiers can also be heard on the stands of Amphion (215) and Equator Audio (1107).

Since 1968, ETAL Group has been a leading supplier of in-house developed high-performance magnetic components, primarily transformers and inductors. It acquired Anaview in 2013 to expand its product range to class D amplifiers for the audio industry. In 2016, Anaview adopted the ETAL company name, retaining Anaview as a product range. ETAL develops, manufactures and sells magnetic components and audio amplifiers on a world-wide market through offices in Europe, Asia and the USA and through distribution partners in an additional 20 countries. Production takes place at the company’s own facilities in Estonia and Sri Lanka as well as through production partners in Asia.
