Dan Phelan, President of ETAL commented, “Anaview has made excellent progress since we acquired the business three years ago, launching further innovative products and winning new customers. The combination of Anaview’s design flair and experience and the strong ETAL production and distribution organization has proved extremely powerful. To reflect the growing integration of the business into the group we have decided that now is the right time to change the name of the company to the group name: ETAL. The Anaview name is extremely well recognized and loved in the international audio market as a brand of high performance amplifiers, so we will continue to use it as a product name.”
“The extensive experience of the design team behind Anaview Class D amplifiers is enabling audio companies worldwide to meet the highest demands for audio quality, cost efficiency and green power, and achieve the shortest possible time to market. In creating their designs, they benefit from ETAL’s expertise in transformer and inductive component technology. Inductive components in Anaview amplifiers are designed specifically by ETAL for Anaview, and manufactured by the Group. The name change will make no difference to the exceptional design and quality of Anaview Class D amplifiers. The team will continue with its keep-it-simple design philosophy using premium components for a robust and great sounding amplifier system,” he added.
ETAL Group Anaview analog Class D amplifiers are based on its own patents and proprietary designs. They operate at very high efficiency, and include patented technology to deliver high audio performance (comparable with Class AB), robustness and a number of support functions that make it easy to integrate in multiple applications. ETAL Anaview Class D amplifiers will continue to serve manufacturers of active loudspeakers and hi-fi equipment in the premium segment. The majority of customers are in the US, although Anaview also has sales in Europe and Asia.
Since 1968, ETAL Group has been a leading supplier of in-house developed high-performance magnetic components, primarily transformers and inductors, for the telecom, power technology, automotive and defense industries. It acquired Anaview in 2013 to expand its product range to class D amplifiers for the audio industry. Etal develops, manufactures and sells magnetic components and audio amplifiers on a world-wide market through offices in Europe, Asia and the USA and through distribution partners in an additional 20 or so countries. Production takes place at the company’s own facilities in Estonia and Sri Lanka as well as through production partners in Asia.
