Digigram Releases New AES67 PCIe Sound Card

Digigram has announced the release of a new sound card, ALP-AES67, as part of its acclaimed ALP-X range, launched in 2022. Available through Digigram's extensive network of distributors, the new ALP-AES67 PCIe card reaches further with Ravenna and SMPTE ST-2110 compliance, expanding audio networking applications. According to the French audio manufacturer, this new ALP-AES67 card embeds Digigram's expertise in Audio-over-IP applications, and stands out as a powerful addition to the ALP-X range, offering enhanced capabilities for critical audio applications.
While the Digigram ALP-X range already covers a large range of audio protocols, including extensive options for Dante and subsequently AES67, the new ALP-AES67 takes the range a step further into the Broadcast, Live Sound and Events applications, where critical audio is at stake.

Featuring the signature characteristics of the ALP-X range, the new ALP-AES67 card was developed using Digigram's sturdy hardware platform for improved reliability. The card also brings versatility to professional audio users thanks to its low-profile form factor coupled with a fanless design, accommodating most PCs and servers, especially when space is scarce.

The ALP-AES67 PCIe card supports 64 playback channels and 64 recording channels at 48kHz, enabling the deployment of large-scale audio structures. Support for standard 24-bit/96kHz ensures 32x32 channels, with 16x16 channels also possible up to 192kHz. PCM formats up to 32-bit are also supported. A PCIe card with a full-height profile or low profile with 4 Ethernet ports enables ST 2022-07 redundancy and switching.

Its compatibility with both Windows and Linux environments provides an unparalleled asset for countless applications, giving large freedom to users who are no longer bound by OS support. Additionally, the card is equipped with two Ethernet ports, ensuring seamless network redundancy, and two Ethernet switch ports for straightforward connectivity to other Dante, AES67, and Ravenna devices. SAP for streams announcement ensures compatibility with Dante products set to AES67 mode. Leveraging decades of expertise in audio over IP, Digigram's ALP-AES67 offers pristine audio quality, low latency and extreme reliability, features that remain at the core of the whole range. The ALP-AES67 card can be controlled using ASIO Settings (Windows) or the Digigram's ALP-X Manager software (Windows) providing one unified control panel for the whole ALP-X range,  for up to 8 ALP-X cards. This interface provides VU-meters, clock frequency, GPIO's and more. Network and routing management is possible using the web graphic interface, or the Aneman and MTDiscovery applications from Merging Technologies. The card also supports NMOS IS=04 and IS=05.
