CODA Audio Launches HOPS10-Pro Advanced Triaxial Professional Loudspeaker

November 21 2024, 00:25
The new HOPS10-Pro from CODA Audio is a high output 3-way point source loudspeaker with an advanced design, featuring dual 10” neodymium low distortion woofers to provide power and accuracy across low frequencies, combined with a 1.4" coaxial neodymium midrange and high-frequency ring-diaphragm driver. The design alignment ensures a perfectly coherent and uniform wavefront, resulting in a full-range sound reinforcement solution with a powerful 1400W rating, in a compact enclosure.

This new design completes CODA Audio’s premium and highly versatile HOPS-Pro range of professional sound reinforcement loudspeakers with an intermediate model available as HOPS10T-Pro for touring, and HOPS10i-Pro for installation. Complementing CODA Audio’s existing HOPS7-Pro and HOPS12-Pro models, the new HOPS10-Pro also ensures that users have maximum flexibility in addressing the widest variety of applications.

All HOPS-Pro Series products utilize the same technologies found in CODA Audio’s line array products, helping to create inventory synergies for PA and rental companies, and creating coherent voicing throughout CODA Audio’s offer. The advanced low-frequency drivers found in the HOPS10-Pro are the same found in CODA’s CiRAY line array, ensuring pristine sound reproduction even at high sound pressure levels.
This new HOPS10-Pro speaker also features CODA’s latest DAC (Dynamic Airflow Cooling) technology, dramatically improving heat dissipation, reducing power compression, and increasing maximum achievable SPL to an impressive 144dB. As well as the exceptional power obtainable from such a compact design (280mm x 674mm x 380mm, weighing less than 22kg) the HOPS10T-Pro (touring version) benefits from precise control thanks to its Quick Release Grille and Instafit Rotatable Waveguide, with an 80° x 50° dispersion pattern. No tools are required to achieve swift and simple changes to directivity.

Both touring and installation versions of the rugged, low maintenance, IP54/55-rated HOPS10-Pro come with their own flexible mounting options for easy rigging and setup, whilst the unit’s innovative design adds further versatility by enabling its use as an extremely compact high output stage monitor.

"The launch of HOPS10-Pro means we now meet every conceivable requirement in the area of point source loudspeakers. From our standard HOPS5 and HOPS8 fixed dispersion models, which provide extremely cost effective solutions in a variety of applications, to the full range of incredibly versatile 7”, 10”, and 12” HOPS-Pro units, our customers have everything they need to deliver ultra-compact, powerful systems for the widest range of live events, clubs, houses of worship, sports venues, theatres, and corporate settings," says David Webster, Global Sales and Marketing Director at CODA Audio.

The CODA HOPS10T-Pro is available with a range of accessories such as fast mounting vertical and horizontal brackets, stand fitting adapter or a quick lock flying frame. It features CMS (CODA Mobile Suspension) and multiple M6 and M8 threaded points for flexible mounting options. When paired with CODA's LINUS6.4 amplifier and can be ideally combined with CODA's G18 or U4 subwoofers.
