The open-ear hook and hinge design of the ARC3 earbuds have an improved shape and flexibility to improve fit and comfort. This is beneficial for situations when users need to hear their surroundings, particularly during activities such as running, cycling, long walks or an intense gym session. The open-ear design also helps for an all-day comfortable listening experience, during hands-free phone and conference calls indoors and on-the-go, with clarity and volume to work remotely.
The Cleer ARC3 delivers a powerful sound with its improved 16.2mm dynamic driver and lossless audio capability with aptX Lossless technology and LDAC high resolution wireless audio transmission. The Snapdragon Sound S5 Gen 2 platform also ensures an immersive listening experience optimized for Dolby Atmos with Dolby head tracking, Bluetooth 5.4 multipoint connectivity to seamlessly switch the audio input from two simultaneously connected devices, and supports aptX Adaptive, LDAC, AAC, and SBC codecs.
The charging case supports wireless charging and features an LED display with touch screen controls, with an interior mirror. Inside, the earbuds are mounted as a heart that represents the "Heartbeat of your music entertainment" while on the go, and the smart case also includes UV-C light sterilization that sanitizes the earbuds while not in use. This explains the presence of the inside mirror.
Improving the experience in open-ears, the Cleer auto volume control (AVC) feature adjusts audio based on surrounding noise for consistent listening. Voice and head gesture command also make hands-free operations possible, leveraging the 6-axis motion sensor. Crystal-Clear voice calls with aptX Voice technology and wind noise reduction design are other features that showcase ways how Cleer Audio perfected the open-ear design.
The Cleer ARC3 earbuds also features anti-loss detection - when the user drops an earbud, it will beep to make it easier to locate - and the charging case provides 50 hours of total battery life (10 hours, plus 40 hours with the smart charging case), plus 5-minute quick charge giving 1.5 hours of playtime. The overall lightweight design (<12g per earbud, and 130g with case) is IPX7 water-resistant and sweatproof, making the ARC3 even more protected around sweat, moisture, water and rain.
Cleer also offers its Cleer+ app for customizable sound performance, customize touch sensitive controls, battery monitor, and a step counter, compatible with Android, and iOS. The Cleer+ app also adds adjustable EQ and music playback presets, as well as easily downloading future firmware updates. Cleer already promises upcoming LE Audio compatibility for this Bluetooth 5.4 product.
The Cleer ARC3 open-ear earbuds (US $219.99 MSRP) are available at launch in Black and Light Pink finishes, and additional colors will be announced in the 1st quarter of 2025.
