According to the Vienna-based company, the new Hi-X60 headphones feature the general sonic signature of the Hi-X6 series with its natural and spacious sound. The overall design follows the same guidelines as existing models, helping the brand to establish a familiar profile, while the Hi-X60's closed-back isolation helps prevent sound from escaping out into the recording environment and interfering with the microphone capture. For instrument or vocal tracking, both features work together to provide the artist with a coherent, healthy signal without leakage.
The company's high-excursion 44mm driver and ring magnet system is the key to the sound offered by all Austrian Audio Hi-X headphones. This design allows for improved airflow and includes the strongest magnetic field in its class. The ring magnet, combined with a copper-clad aluminum voice coil, reduces the weight of the membrane and the voice coil connected to it, allowing the membrane to move or change direction faster, providing a more responsive impulse reaction.
"Expect great bass imaging and outstanding low THD (total harmonic distortion) at low frequencies, together with a linear frequency response and open, precise high resolution sound that is very revealing and makes error detection easy," states Austrian Audio.

These Made in Austria headphones use special slow retention, memory foam, replaceable earpads to keep users comfortable, also with replaceable bow pad for long lifetime and hygiene.
