The Media Networking Alliance (MNA) is both exhibiting and engaging in a range of activities at InfoComm 2015 to promote the understanding and uptake of AES67, the interoperability standard for high-performance audio-over-IP streaming.

The Media Networking Alliance will be promoting different activities at the Orange County Convention Center during the InfoComm 2015 show (exhibition: June 17-19), with a calendar of sessions scheduled on Room W304F and MNA’s Booth (#693) in the  exhibit halls.

The “open” panel discussion on “How is AES67 going to change our industry?” will take place Thursday June 18, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Room W304F. The Media Networking Alliance is hosting this session providing the opportunity to discuss issues and interact with a panel of knowledgeable experts. Moderated by MNA chairman Rich Zwiebel, VP of Systems Strategy at QSC, the panel comprises Johan Wadsten, Software Product Manager at Merging Technologies; Phil Wagner, President of Focusrite Novation Inc.; Ethan Wetzell, platform strategist at Bosch Communications Systems; and Andreas Hildebrand, Senior Product Manager for the RAVENNA technology.

This panel will be followed by the MNA Welcome Reception, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., in the same room. The reception is open to all InfoComm attendees and will include a short presentation from alliance chair Rich Zwiebel and some brief testimonials, before affording the opportunity to meet with and talk with MNA members.

The MNA booth on the show floor will be staffed throughout the exhibition by MNA member engineers and experts, enabling InfoComm attendees to obtain information and advice concerning AES67, and discuss with member companies their experience in implementing the standard. Visitors can inquire about the MNA and the benefits of becoming a member.

In addition to these MNA activities, on Wednesday June 17 from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Rich Zwiebel and Kevin Gross, the newly appointed chair of the MNA Technical Working Group, founder of AVA Networks, will present the InfoComm Partner Training session IS68 Audio Networking Interoperability with AES67.
