MQA (Master Quality Authenticated) the new company created to promote the ground-breaking music technology created by Meridian’s founder Bob Stuart, will attend the 2015 Rocky Mountain Audio Fest, held on Oct 2-4, at the Denver Tech Center Marriot, in Denver, Colorado. MQA also introduced a new logo:

Following the recent announcements of MQA-enabled products from Pioneer, Onkyo and Bluesound, MQA has now announce that Mytek Digital and AudioQuest become the latest partners to support MQA.

Steve Silberman, Vice President at AudioQuest commented, “With MQA we see a potentially significant piece of the streaming puzzle about to be resolved. With MQA, it’ll be possible to stream rich uncompressed music under circumstances that would otherwise be impossible without this solution. Additionally, MQA achieves the ultimate goal — preservation of the music as the artists intended it to be heard.”

RMAF 2015 will also see the world premier of the new Mytek product, The Brooklyn—a USB2 DAC, preamplifier and headphone amp. At the forefront of digital music playing, The Brooklyn employs the latest in decoding technology allowing the listener to experience the latest high resolution music offering available, including MQA, DSD and DXD. The Brooklyn allows for integrating digital and vinyl hi-res playback for reference listening on both headphones and monitors. MSRP: $2,000 USD.

Additionally, MQA creator, Bob Stuart, will participate in two highly anticipated seminars during the event including “Streaming Audio: Preserving the Past, Protecting the Future” with Pal Bratelund, from TIDAL on Oct. 2nd at 4:45 pm and “Legends of High-End Audio” on Oct. 3 at 2:30pm.

MQA is a revolutionary new British technology to bring the listener as close as possible to the artist’s original performance. Using pioneering scientific research into how people hear, the team has created a technology that captures the full magic of an original studio performance, in a format that’s small enough to stream to your computer, smartphone or any other device, or download.
