Eighteen Sound Srl of Reggio Emilia, Italy, has announced a strategic agreement with Ciare Srl of Senigallia, Italy, which allows Eighteen Sound control of worldwide sales of Ciare Srl. The agreement, which takes effect immediately, serves to broaden the scope of Eighteen Sound’s product line as well as expanding its access to new global markets through Ciare sales channels worldwide.

The announcement, made during the InfoComm 2015 show in Orlando, FL, is undoubtedly important for both companies and the loudspeaker industry in general. As Jeffrey Cox, Eighteen Sound’s recently appointed Director Of Sales North America stated, Ciare’s completely integrated manufacturing resources will be ideally complemented with Eighteen Sound’s worldwide distribution and marketing capabilities.
Ciare attended the Prolight+Sound 2014 show in Frankfurt and was absent in 2015

As Eighteen Sound’s CEO, Pierpaolo Marziali, states, “By aligning Eighteen Sound with another loudspeaker manufacturer from Italy, we are expanding our product offerings and sales channels, which will allows us to continue to grow our worldwide presence and capabilities in the OEM marketplace, supplying the finest designers and manufacturers around the world.”

Ciare has been manufacturing high-quality loudspeakers since the 1940s. Constant research and highly respected product development ethic has created a custom product line designed by engineers that understand both professional audio demands and consumer requirements. Strong B2B and consumer divisions will marry well with the Eighteen Sound product offerings.

“This agreement fits perfectly with our assessment of our product offerings and the areas that require expansion,” notes Giacomo Previ, director of global sales. “Ciare designs and manufactures their B2B product line with a balance of cost and performance in Italy. This falls directly in line with our corporate policy of Made in Italy. It also allows us direct communication and immediate access to the people and the factory. Italian design, Italian engineering and Italian manufacturing is a hallmark of our company.”

“Our intention is to grow this significant product base and offer it as a solution to clients of Eighteen Sound that have cost consideration as a primary concern,” adds Jeffrey Cox.
