Audix Celebrates 40 Years in Microphone Business

Audix, the Oregon-based microphone manufacturer that is now part of Videndum Media Solutions together with Rycote and other companies, is celebrating the company's 40th anniversary in business. Since its humble beginnings in 1984, Audix has grown to offer a wide range of microphones for audio recording, live performance, and installed sound applications. To celebrate its 40 years, Audix launched 100 limited-edition, bead blasted D6X drum microphones.

2025 NAMM Show Expands to Five Days of Events With Three Days of Exhibits

NAMM (The National Association of Music Merchants), the largest global not-for-profit music trade organization, has announced its initial lineup of events and exhibits for The 2025 NAMM Show, taking place at the Anaheim Convention Center January 21–25, with events beginning on Tuesday, January 21. Exhibits start January 23, creating nonstop energy through late Saturday evening, January 25, 2025. Major brands are back in full force to NAMM Show!

Neumann Presents New Live Sound Products at NAMM 2024

Neumann.Berlin launched several new products for stage use at NAMM 2024, making its range of condenser capsule heads compatible with other wireless systems and expanding the Miniature Clip Microphone System (MCM) system. The KK 104 U and KK 105 U condenser capsule heads make the famous Neumann sound accessible to users of third-party wireless systems.
