The joint development with Sonical targets consumer and professional audio products, hearing assistance devices and health monitoring wearables. Sonical's Headphone 3.0 platform, using ear computers and CosmOS – the operating system for the ear – enables rapid product development. By making devices that are able to support downloadable plugins and apps, developers can now create software for any connected endpoint device.

Sonical was founded in 2020 to enable the rapidly developing Headphone 3.0 market. Sonical is building a platform that that is able to run its own operating system, CosmOS, designed for low power devices running downloadable plugins. This will enable the large community of app developers to create and deliver advanced AI based algorithms to hearables manufacturers.
