1MORE announced the addition of two new headphones to its award-winning line of premium headphones, including its first true wireless model and first Bluetooth ANC headphones. The 1MORE Stylish True Wireless In-Ear Headphones (Stylish TWS) and the Dual Driver BT ANC In-Ear Headphones (BT ANC) will round out the new wireless offerings from the Chinese company, and will be introduced at the CES 2019 show (January 8-11). These two new models are not exactly the most advanced in the market, but its price/performance ratio should once again surprise.

28% of Smart Speaker Owners use it to Control a Smart Home Device

The latest research from Parks Associates tracks growth of voice control and voice-based technologies for smart home and connected entertainment ecosystems. Parks Associates found that 28% of U.S. broadband households with a smart speaker use the voice assistant to control a smart home device, compared to only 12% that use it to control an entertainment device. The report "State of the Market: Smart Home and Connected Entertainment," is now available for download on the Parks Associates site.

In its latest Global Headphone Report update, market research firm Futuresource Consulting continues to see solid growth in the headphones market, both in units sold and revenue. According to the latest quarterly tracking report from Futuresource, the global headphones market enjoyed an upsurge in revenues in Q3 this year, growing by 26% year-on-year. It seems noise-cancelling and true wireless headphones are exciting consumers.

Juniper Predicts Hearables To Revolutionize Personal Audio Tech by 2022

Predicting that over 50% of all wireless headphones will incorporate Hearable Voice assistants, touch sensors and other interface technologies, a new report by Juniper Research forecasts that hearables will become the new standard for personal audio in under 5 years. The new report from Juniper has found that there will be an estimated 417 million hearables in use by 2022. This includes fitness-focused devices, hearing augmentation and purely audio-focused devices.
