To mark Neumann.Berlin’s 90th company anniversary, Sennheiser and Neumann have unveiled a very special promotional bundle that combines a Sennheiser evolution wireless 500 G4 microphone system with the Neumann KK 205 true condenser capsule. This special edition vocal set makes the acclaimed Neumann sound available to a much wider audience – as until now, Neumann microphone heads had been reserved for Sennheiser’s 2000, 6000 and 9000 wireless series.

Timecode Systems Reveals New UltraSync BLUE Timecode-Over-Bluetooth Solution
Timecode Systems, a British manufacturer of wireless sync technology, introduced UltraSync BLUE, the first solution to use the company's new patented timecode sync and control protocol to transmit timecode to a recording device over Bluetooth with sub-frame accuracy. UltraSync BLUE uses Bluetooth pairing to connect to a device. This enables timecode to be transmitted wirelessly from UltraSync BLUE directly into the media file of a connected device.

Avid Expands VENUE S6L Live Sound Modular Mixing Platform with New Compact Systems
Avid announced the immediate availability of a new control surface, processing engine and I/O rack option for its expanded Avid VENUE S6L unified live sound platform. The Avid VENUE S6L-24C control surface, Avid VENUE E6L-112 engine and Stage 32 I/O rack are the first releases out of six new components announced in April 2018, providing sound companies and performance venues with greater flexibility to configure the perfect system to meet any production, space or budget requirement.

Vibrotextile Surround-Body Experience Bypasses Eardrums Enabling Users to 'Hear' Music via the Brain
Not Impossible Labs, a California-based company, made a presentation of its "Music: Not Impossible (M:NI)" applied Vibrotextile technology that translates sound onto the skin through vibration, allowing users to feel the nuances of a music-listening experience. Initially inspired by deaf music fans, M:NI's use during a concert produces a dramatic effect for all participants, regardless of their hearing, delivering a shared 'surround body' experience.
